Mr. Abiri is of counsel at Custodio & Dubey LLP. Prior to joining the firm, Robert served as a senior trial attorney at a prominent California personal injury firm, and also ran a successful business litigation firm for nearly a decade. He focuses on all aspects of litigation, from pre-litigation research and evaluation, through mediations and settlement conferences, and concluding in trials and appellate proceedings. His practice area focuses primarily on consumer protection class action matters. In recognition of his achievements and efforts, in each year of eligibility since 2011, Robert has been named a Super Lawyers Southern California Rising Stars list.
Having worked on the defense side too, Robert uses his past knowledge and experience to achieve optimal results for his clients. This allows him to bring a unique perspective to consumer protection cases that allows maximum recovery for his clients.
Robert strongly believes in the work he does and the results he seeks. It is not right for a corporation to take advantage of the very customer base that supports its business, whether by intentional false advertising or negligent misrepresentations. Consumers as individuals do not generally have the ability to go against larger corporations when they are misled or deceived. Yet through class actions, the collective can make a difference and seek to right those wrongs that sometimes manifest at the hands of a larger corporation.
